La Jolla Palisades I is 89 parcels on about 26 acres, split down the middle by Rutgers Road. It was laid out in 1958 as La Jolla Palisades Unit 1, and resident volunteers look after it today.
The DC&Rs
Every property in the neighborhood is covered by the Declarations, Covenants, and Restrictions (DC&Rs) recorded when it was established in 1958 and renewed, with minor amendments, in January 1988. They set out how properties here are bought, maintained, and sold.

Architectural Committee
